Deep ruby/garnet coloured wine with shallow tawny rim. Pronounced nose of warm autumn fruits, blackcurrants and cherries with hints of chocolate and spice. Dry, firm and full bodied with firm tannin structure and excellent weight of rich dark dried fruits. Fermentation on the lees of the Amarone has given this wine a smooth rounded finish with great length.
